This Is Bass Lake: A Destination for Generations.
The Bass Lake History Committee’s four-year project will culminate this summer with the publication of the book This Is Bass Lake: A Destination for Generations.
By weaving together historical accounts and personal narratives of voices past and present, the committee presents an authentic telling of the lake's story and offers a nostalgic look at treasured summer traditions. Discover why generations have been drawn to this enchanting west Michigan retreat, and why families and friends continue to call Bass Lake their summer home.
BLPOA members will be able to view additional photos and historical material on the This Is Bass Lake tab. For decades, photos, newspaper articles and other historically significant information relating to Bass Lake has been boxed up and passed down. These treasures have been saved but rarely shared. Our goal is to continue telling the Bass Lake story by expanding this online collection.
