BLPOA
Membership of the Bass Lake Property Owners Association is voluntary and offers residents around the lake a way to connect, communicate and come together for the common purpose of supporting the health and wellbeing of our lake. In accordance with its bylaws, BLPOA is governed by an Executive Committee made of up elected officers, appointed advisors and the past President. BLPOA’s regularly scheduled meetings each summer are typically held the last Saturday in June and the first Saturday in August at 9 a.m. at the Summit Township Hall on Deren Road.
Three different entities have responsibilities around Bass Lake:
BLPOA maintains the dam (weir) at the outlet
Bass Lake Improvement Board takes action to control the growth of invasive aquatic weeds
Summit Township leases the private property at the outlet beach for the public to enjoy
